Confirmed: ‘The Red Sleeve Cuff’ Actor Kang Hoon Joins Jeon Yeo Bin in New Drama ‘Some Day or One Day’
Following his successful portrayal in the smashing hit K-series "The Red Sleeve Cuff," Kang Hoon is confirmed for his next drama role.
'Some Day or One Day' is Kang Hoon's Next Drama
On February 9, an official from Korean entertainment announced that Kang Hoon is confirmed to star in the forthcoming Korean remake of the popular Taiwanese drama "Some Day or One Day."
The rising star is expected to play the character of Si Baek Woo. Fans are already excited for his small screen return. In December of last year, it was reported that Jeon Yeo Bin and Ahn Hyo Seop also received casting offers to appear in the Korean adaptation.
What We Know So Far About 'Some Day or One Day'
"Some Day or One Day" tells the story of a 27-year-old woman who is longing for the love of her life. She always checks his social media accounts with the hope that he might call her anytime soon. Unfortunately, while on her way home, she was hit by a car. When she regains consciousness she learns that she's living in 1998 as a high school student and meets a guy whom she thought was her boyfriend.
Jeon Yeo Bin, Ahn Hyo Seop
Since "Some Day or One Day" aired in 2019 in Taiwan, it already gained massive popularity and was named as one of the most watched dramas in Japan, Hong Kong, and Malaysia. It also won major awards at the 25th Asian Television Awards and was nominated in six categories at the 55th Golden Bell Awards in 2020.

In addition, the Korean adaptation of "Some Day or One Day" is in discussion to be produced under a famous online streaming platform in order to be watched by lots of viewers abroad.
Kang Hoon's Fruitful Acting Journey
Though he appeared in various dramas already with minor roles, Kang Hoon only received recognition when he took the character of Hong Deok Ro in MBC's "The Red Sleeve Cuff." It also opened new doors for the rising star, and "Some Day or One Day" is one of his first projects to be confirmed for 2022.
Recently, Kang Hoon and his "The Red Sleeve Cuff" co-stars gathered together for the first time after the drama concluded in "Radio Star" and in a Special Lunar New Year show. There, viewers had the opportunity to know more about Kang Hoon.
He even shared that he's a huge fan of SNSD member Taeyeon was one of the reasons why he pursued acting, so that he could meet her in real-life.
Furthermore, Kang Hoon made the viewers swoon with his appearance in "The Red Sleeve Cuff" and had his first major awards for his brilliant acting in the drama. He won a trophy and was hailed as Best New Actor in 2021 MBC Drama Awards.
