'Forecasting Love and Weather' Episode 1: Jin Ha Kyung Receives Warning from Fortune Teller
Jin Ha Kyung (Park Min Young) was busy preparing for her wedding, but her fiancé Han Ki Joon (Yoon Park) kept neglecting her. And yet, she chose to protect him over and over in front of her mother.

Then, a fortune teller told Jin Ha Kyung she will not have a successful relationship with Han Ki Joon, who she has been in love with for ten years. The fortune teller also warned her to bring an umbrella because it will rain on that day.
Lee Si Woo Predicts the Weather Accurately
Enter Lee Si Woo, a genius weather forecaster who predicts the weather accurately. Unfortunately, his opinion always gets rejected by his colleagues. He predicted a hail coming, but Jin Ha Kyung refused to broadcast it because of the low probability.
Everyone in the Meteorological department was in chaos because they failed to give warning to the public.
Meanwhile, Jin Ha Kyung became the temporary director of their team because their team head was rushed to the hospital due to heart attack. In her first week as a director, she met Lee Si Woo.

During their team meeting, the representatives from each province reported their weather forecast. Go Bong Chan (Kwon Hae Hyo) noticed Lee Si Woo, who was persistent in showing his predictions about the weather.
He gave him the opportunity to speak and explained the probability that there will be heavy rain in the metropolitan area. But Jin Ha Kyung was not satisfied with his statement.

Lee Si Woo and Jin Ha Kyung had an argument over the phone and the male forecaster told Jin Ha Kyung couldn't focus at work because she was busy preparing for her wedding.
The female director was shocked he knew about her personal life and later discovered that one of her colleagues accidentally mentioned it to Lee Si Woo.
She went to Lee Si Woo and tried to speak with him but he kept on pissing her off. Lee Si Woo blamed her for being incompetent, that she couldn't decide immediately.
As a rebuttal, Jin Ha Kyung said she had lots of things to consider when it comes to making decisions about the weather forecast because it could affect people in the same field.

Jin Ha Kyung also questioned Lee Si Woo's predictions, but not until rain started pouring, and soon enough, a sudden downpour filled the city. She was surprised that Lee Si Woo's weather predictions were accurate, and even the Meteorological company high-ups were amazed.
Jin Ha Kyung's Wedding Gets Cancelled
She thought everything was falling according to her plan, until she found out that Han Ki Joon didn't coordinate with the wedding organizers and, worse, was having an affair.
Yoon Park | Forecasting Love and Weather still
Jin Ha Kyung saw with her two eyes her longtime boyfriend on a bed with another woman. Due to this, they ended up parting ways.
Meanwhile, Jin Ha Kyung got promoted and became the permanent director of their team.
