The JTBC series is the newest K-drama that follows the friendship of Cha Mi Jo (Son Ye Jin,) Jung Chan Young (Jeon Mi Do) and Jang Joo Hee (Kim Ji Hyun) and their exciting journey as they welcome life at 40.
In the drama, the trio, who met during their high school years and is now on the verge of leaving their late-thirties, is in search of a meaningful life.
The "Crash Landing on You" star took on the role of Cha Mi Jo, the head dermatologist of a clinic in Gangnam.
Meanwhile, Jeon Mi Do, famous for her role on "Hospital Playlist," plays acting teacher Jung Chan Young while Kim Ji Hyun's character is the department store cosmetics manager, Jang Joo Hee.

In the still cuts released by JTBC, Jung Chan Young is having an intense confrontation with Kang Seon Joo (Song Min Ji), who is Kim Jin Seok's (Lee Moo Saeng) wife.
The legal wife visited Jung Chan Young at her office, exuding a bold and icy demeanor towards her, while the acting teacher illustrated calmness amid the terrifying situation.
To recall, "Thirty-Nine" episodes 1 and 2 highlight the relationship of Jung Chan Young and Kim Jin Seok. They are each other's first love but were cut short due to major chances in life.

Despite Jin Seok being married and having a son, he still continued his special friendship with Chan Young; unfortunately, his wife is sensing something about the two; hence, the confrontational scene.
On the other hand, the new still cuts also featured how Cha Mi Jo is protective of her best friend.
Seeing that Jung Chan Young couldn't defend herself, she stepped up and confronted Kang Seon Joo.
Surprisingly, Mo Ji was the most unsupportive of Jung Chan Young and Kim Jin Seok's odd relationship, which raises the curiosity as to why she's brewing with anger.
It is safe to say that since Mi Jo knew about Chan Young's health crisis, she has become more protective of her.
In the last episode, the dermatologist was surprised to find out that her best friend has stage four cancer and doesn't have the courage to tell her.
Still, in a state of shock, she went straight to Kim Jin Seok's office instead and blamed it all on him. This is also the first time that Kim Seon Woo (Yeon Woo Jin), who was at Jin Seok's office, saw the vulnerable side of Mi Jo.
