Based on the popular web novel of the same name, which recently had been adapted into a drama, "A Business Proposal" centers around the chaotic love story of a regular office employee who goes on a blind date with her boss.
The series stars Ahn Hyo Seop as Kang Tae Mu, the hot yet stern CEO of K-FRESH. Meanwhile, Kim Sejeong plays the role of the regular food researcher Shin Ha Ri, who goes on blind date in place of her best friend Jin Young Seo, played by Seol In Ah.

Appearing in many dramas of the fantasy, action, romance, drama and other genres, actor Ahn Hyo Seop now wants to try a drama that he's never done before.

"I wanted to try a romantic comedy," Ahn Hyo Seop said matter-of-factly. "I want to approach the viewers with a more humorous side of me that they haven't seen in me so far."
When asked about his thoughts on his new acting role, Ahn Hyo Seop showed a fond interest in Kang Tae Mu.
He answered, "I want to give 2D Kang Tae Mu a colorful life, that's why I really wanted [to do this work]."

Like many of his characters, Ahn Hyo Seop can't help but to fall in love with his new role. He introduces his new character with fondness and familiarity.
He explained, "Kang Tae Mu is a character who is envied by anyone for his wealth, looks, intelligence and flawlessness."

In order to show his character's striking visuals and professionalism as a CEO, Ahn Hyo Seop prepared his dapper custom-made suits. According to the actor, he had to be perfectly dressed in suits to give Kang Tae Mu a personality.
He also gave importance to his physical appearance, body language and gestures and even the way he speaks. When asked why he gives emphasis to Kang Tae Mu-like appearances, the actor answered, "My priority is to look more like Kang Tae Mu than Ahn Hyo Seop."
Concerning the deeper part of his character, Ahn Hyo Seop describes Kang Tae Mu as someone who doesn't know how to empathize with other people.

"When you watch the drama, you will find out why Kang Tae Mu has such a ruthless personality," Ahn Hyo Seop said.

The actor hinted at his character's development in the drama, saying, "The key point of the drama is the way he changes after he meets Shin Ha Ri."

Another thing to look forward to is Kang Tae Mu's unexpected charms. "He is a flawless person, but when it comes to work, he shows his child-like sides when he becomes worked up about trivial things. He's cool and cute at the same time," Ahn Hyo Seop said.
