'Thirty-Nine' Episode 5 Spoilers
As the broadcast network released a sneak peek for the fifth episode, long-time best friends Cha Mi Jo (Son Ye Jin,) Jung Chan Young (Jeon Mi Do and Jang Joo Hee (Kim Ji Hyun) realized that it's best to seize the moment and not to dwell on things that they can't change.
With this, "Thirty-Nine" episode 5 hints at Mi Jo's grand plan, and that is by making Chan Young the happiest terminally ill patient in the world.
Intending to prolong her life, Mi Jo makes sure that she starts with a healthy living, which explains why the head dermatologist is lecturing her friend about olives and their benefits.
Based on the new stills, Jung Chan Young seems disgusted by it but has no choice but to obey her friend.
The Trio's Bucket List
As part of their plan to make Jung Chan Young is the happiest person in the world, she lists down the things she wanted to do, also with ideas from Joo Hee and Mi Jo.
However, upon checking the list, the two seem upset about Chan Young's wishes; this might be because it's more for her friends than hers.

To recall, episode 4 highlights the sacrifice of Cha Mi Jo and Jang Joo Hee when they learn about Chan Young's illness.
After being diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer, it seems like Chan Young has lost her faith and mentioned that she didn't want to get treated, which made Mi Jo furious.
She explained that she didn't want to spend the rest of her remaining life in bed and wanted to experience things like a normal person. With this, Mi Jo decides not to continue her sabbatical abroad but with her friend.
She promised to take care of Chan Young until she needed her.
The same goes for Jang Joo Hee, who encountered the luckiest day of her life after winning a lottery worth millions of won.
During the trio's conversation, she revealed that the money was gone. Surprised by her announcement, Joo Hee explained that she decided to shred the ticket and gave her luck to Chan Young.
Cha Mi Jo and Kim Seon Woo's Budding Romance
The tables have turned for Mi Jo and fellow doctor Kim Seon Woo (Yeon Woo Jin.)
To recall, Seon Woo learned that his sister Kim Seon Won (Ahn So Hee) was working at a bar instead of being a piano teacher.
Although he tried to persuade her to leave the place and join him, she refused and got kicked out at the bar. The scene was witnessed by the trio.
Seeing Kim Seon Won hitting rock bottom, it's now Cha Mi Jo's turn to comfort him.
Will this be the start of a deeper connection between the two?
