"Twenty Five, Twenty One," which stars Kim Tae Ri and Nam Joo Hyuk, is a coming-of-age retro drama that airs on the weekend.
As it's almost halfway through before the finale, viewers can't help but theorize that Gong Yoo might play the older Baek Yi Jin, whose younger version is currently portrayed by Nam Joo Hyuk.
Presently, fans are gushing over the "Start-Up" actor as he is perfect as Baek Yi Jin. As the story progresses, his romance with Na Hee Doo, currently portrayed by Kim Tae Ri, makes viewers swoon.
As Kim Min Chae (Choi Byung Bin) reads the diary of her mom, Na Hee Do, the story goes back and forth from past to present, and this makes her understand her mom deeper. She got to know her mother's struggles as a prodigy and her failures and her scarred relationship with her own mother.
However, Kim Min Chae is far from uncovering all the secrets from her mom's youth.
