tvN introduces Shin Min Ah's new role for the upcoming K-drama "Our Blues." The broadcast network showed a glimpse of the actress' character as they gear up for the highly anticipated release.
'Our Blues' Features Shin Min Ah as the Mysterious New Girl in Jeju
In the new still cuts released by tvN, the 37-year-old beauty showed a worried expression as she stood next to the scenic view of the island.
Stimulating the curiosity of viewers, the still cuts hint that Shin Min Ah, who plays Min Seon Ah, comes to the island because of a heartbreaking situation.
Interestingly, the second teaser features a different look from Min Seon Ah. Showing a deep affection for her son, she smiled brightly as she warmly welcomed the child.
The upcoming K-drama will highlight what prompted her to move to a new town, leaving her son behind. From rom-com queen, Shin Min Ah will show off her acting prowess as she plays the mysterious new girl of Jeju.
According to Sports News, the production team shared that the Hallyu star "has taken a new acting challenge that she had never shown before" through "Our Blues." She added that viewers will see the different side of Shin Min Ah.
Joining the 37-year-old actress is Lee Byung Hun, playing Lee Dong Seok. He was born and raised on the island. He might just be Min Seon Ah's knight and shining armor.
The award-winning actor took on the role of the eccentric salesman who lives in his truck.

Aside from the duo, "Our Blues" cast also includes Kim Woo Bin as ship captain Park Jung Joon. He meets rookie diver Lee Young Ok, played by Han Ji Min.
Completing the star-studded cast lineup is Cha Seung Won, "Parasite" star Lee Jung Eun, Kim Hye Ja, Uhm Jung Hwa, Go Doo Shim, Park Ji Hwan, Choi Young Joon, Bae Hyun Sung, Noh Yoon Seo, and Ki So You.

Set to premiere on April 9, "Our Blues" is an omnibus-style drama showcasing various stories of people living on the island.
The upcoming slice of life series is penned by the renewed screenwriter Noh Hee Kyung of the hit series "That Winter, The Wind Blows," "Dear My Friends," Dear My Friend," and "It's Okay, That's Love."
Meanwhile, "Our Blues" is directed by Kim Kyu Tae, who is also the genius behind "That Winter, The Wind Blows," "It's Okay, That's Love," "Scarlet Heart: Goryeo," "Live," and "Iris."
Shin Min Ah Dramas 2022
After the success of "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha," where she starred alongside Kim Seon Ho, Shin Min Ah is set to headline multiple K-dramas this 2022.
Aside from "Our Blues," she is also in talks to lead the cast of "Here" and will be reunited with Lee Byung Hun.
The upcoming series will also star Nam Joo Hyuk and Han Ji Min.
Adding to the list of her upcoming projects is a medical K-drama under SBS "I am a Nurse, a Human," directed by Lee Hyung Min of "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon."
