'Twenty Five, Twenty One' Episode 13: Things Get Awry Between Na Hee Do and Baek Yi Jin
After they shared a chaste kiss to welcome the new year, Na Hee Do (Kim Tae Ri) and Baek Yi Jin (Nam Joo Hyuk) haven't seen one another since.

In "Twenty Five, Twenty One" episode 13, the two confused young adults try to find answers to their unanswered questions about love and its consequences.

Meanwhile, Yi Jin and Coach Yang (Kim Hye Eun) bump into each other and bonded over beer and soju (South Korean alcohol).
Coach Yang Warns Baek Yi Jin To Keep Distance
While drinking, Coach Yang shares her own story and how she and Hee Do's mother, UBS reporter Shin Jae Kyung (Seo Eun Kyung), ended their friendship.
Like Hee Do and Yi Jin, young Coach Yang and Shin Jae Kyung were a gold medalist fencer and a rookie UBS reporter.

Through their connection, they became close friends and shared many great memories together. However, because of the nature of Shin Jae Kyung's work, she was bound to hurt Coach Yang even if she didn't intend to.
Coach Yang then warns Yi Jin to keep his distance from the young fencer to avoid the same path they took.
Na Hee Do and Go Yu Rim Fight For the Gold
After their three-month suspension, Hee Do and Go Yu Rim (WJSN Bona) come back to the fencing field to fight for the gold one last time as Tae Yang High School fencing team.

Since their suspension, the two became rusty. Hee Do and Yu Rim performed poorly, which frustrated Coach Yang.

Little did she know, the two were burdened by the wavering feelings inside their hearts. Hee Do was worried about Yi Jin, and Yu Rim was torn between going to college or playing fencing as a job.

He kisses Hee Do with longing, despite the tears falling from their eyes, and swears he'll just cross the bridge of consequences when he gets there.
