"Empress Ki" Ha Ji Won won her fight against Baek Jin Hee.

On the tenth episode of the MBC Monday Tuesday drama "Empress Ki," aired on November 26, 2013, toward the end of the episode, Ki Seung Nyang (Ha Ji Won) started her mental fight against Ta Na Shil Ri (Baek Jin Hee). Ki Seung Nyang and Ta Na Shil Ri are to aid Yeon Chul and Emperor Ta Hwan (Ji Chang Wook), and start fighting for the powers in the later episodes.

Empress Ta Na Shil Ri ordered Ki Seung Nyang to deliver a letter to captain Gup Sal. Although Ta Na Shil Ri said to Ki Seung Nyang that it was to select a person who can be trusted in assassinating Ms. Park, in the letter it read, "Kill the person who gave you the letter." Empress Ta Na Shil Ri wanted to see if Ki Seung Nyang could be trusted.

Ki Seung Nyang, although she confirmed the content of the letter, successfully delivers the letter to captain Gup Sal. Albeit the threats of captain Gup Sal, she chooses not to reveal that the sender of the letter was Ta Na Shil Ri, passing all the tests, while knowing the whole time that this was a test from Ta Na Shil Ri to see if she could trust her.

Ta Na Shil Ri then gave Ki Seung Nyang the second test. Ta Na Shil Ri gave her a poison to kill Ms. Park.
