On the other hand, despite the heartbreaking condition, they try to create special moments together with their loved ones.

'Thirty-Nine' Episode 11: Cha Mi Jo Cuts Ties With her Biological Mom

The eleventh episode starts with Cha Mi Jo (Son Ye Jin) facing her fears and ended up meeting her biological mother in prison. She confronted her and revealed how she truly feels about being abandoned and left at the orphanage.

Amid her heartbreaking fate, Mi Jo tells her how lucky she is to find her adoptive family.

"Thirty-Nine" episode 11 featured a different kind of Mi Jo as this time, she didn't get soft about her biological mother and berated not to send creditors to her clinic nor contact her loved ones for money.

Refusing to get treated, Jung Chan Young (Jeon Mi Do) is experiencing extreme pain due to her illness, making her cooped up in bed.

In one scene, her mother saw a contract for the memorial hall. She realizes that her daughter is preparing for her funeral, which makes her feel heartbroken.

With this, she tells Chan Young that she is wasting her precious time getting busy on something more mournful than spending it with them.

Capturing Jung Chan Young's Smile

Apart from the memorial contract, Chan Young gets ready for her burial photo. However, she couldn't tell the photographer that it was for her funeral, so instead, she said that it was for her I.D.

Unfortunately, she was disappointed that she couldn't smile in her last photo.

Jung Chan Young also told this to Mi Jo, which made her feel troubled. Feeling anxious that she is slowly preparing for her upcoming death, she mentioned this to Jang Joo Hee (Kim Ji Hyun).

On the other hand, with Joo Hee wanting to fulfill her wish and make her the happiest terminally ill patient, she invites the duo to go on a special trip and capture her smile.

The Renovation Begins

Another wish of Jung Chan Young is to renovate her family's restaurant. She opened up to Mi Jo about how she wanted to renovate her family's business, but her mom refused.

Cha Mi Jo seeing Chan Young's frustration to give her parents' only the best, she persuaded her mom to give the restaurant a new look, and fortunately, she agreed.

The trio, alongside Kim Seon Woo (Yeon Woo Jin) and Kim Jin Seok (Lee Moo Saeng), agreed to be a part of the renovation.
