So Yoo Jin may play the first woman to pave Jang Geun Suk's road to success in the KBS drama "Pretty Man" but she will be taking on an even more challenging new role when the drama ends. She's going to be a mom.

This week, a representative from her agency Star J Entertainment, announced that the actress is expecting to become a mom in April and that she is already five months pregnant.

"When So Yoo Jin finishes filming 'Pretty Man' she will take some time off to prepare for her labor," said a Star J representative. "However, she does intend to keep acting after her baby's birth."

The actress not only announced the news of her pregnancy but she released an ultrasound photograph of her unborn child through her Twitter account. She also thanked everyone who congratulated her on her pregnancy.

Earlier this year the 31-year-old actress married Baek Jong Won, the CEO of multiple restaurant franchises including Baek Jong Won's Original Wrapped Rice, New World Restaurant, Hong Kong Restaurant and Han Shin Food Truck. The restaurants have locations in Korea and in other countries.

When So Yoo Jin and Baek Jong Won first began dating, they did not want to do so publicly, so the rumors caused a dating scandal. They denied that they were more than friends but eventually they had to confess their relationship. Even then it caused some controversy, as Baek Jong Won is 15 years older than the actress.

Neither of them seemed concerned about the age difference. The actress found age to be a less important consideration than that her future husband was a kind and caring person.

"My husband and I were born 15 years apart," said So when the controversy arose. "But we don't feel any gap, thanks perhaps to his wonderful personality.

On the drama "Pretty Man," So Yoo Jin plays Jaek Hee, the older woman who buys Jang Geun Suk's character Dokgo Ma Te an expensive home and a fancy car only to see him ride off with another woman. It was a role she longed to play.

"I was always a fan of the comic 'Pretty Man' and now that I'm part of the drama I reallu want to have fun with it," she said when she accepted the role.

The actress has appeared in the dramas "Can't Live Without You," "Happy Ending" and "Golden Fish
