Breakout star Wi Ha Joon is making his immediate return to primetime with "Little Women." But apart from that, he received an offer to act with Ji Chang Wook in a new K-series.

Wi Ha Joon in Talks To Share the Same Frame with Ji Chang Wook in New Crime Drama

K-media outlet OSEN stated in their report on April 27 that Wi Ha Joon previously received a casting offer to participate in the upcoming drama "The Worst Evil." In addition, the "Squid Game" actor is positively reviewing the script.

In March, Ji Chang Wook was casted to lead the said action-thriller series. It will be helmed by director Han Dong Wook. Baram Pictures and Sanai Pictures will team up to co-produce the upcoming project. Both productions are subsidiaries of Kakao Entertainment.

Sanai Pictures is known for making edgy crime action series. Some of their masterpieces were "Asura: The City of Madness," "When a Man Falls in Love," and "New World." Meanwhile, Baram Pictures is the company that co-produced Jun Ji Hyun's recent drama "Jirisan."

Once the two confirmed their appearances in "The Worst Evil," it will mark Wi Ha Joon and Ji Chang Wook's first drama team-up. Meanwhile, Ji Chang Wook is about to meet the viewers first this coming May with his new fantasy drama "The Sound of Magic," also known as "Annarasumanara."

Ha Joon just finished his action-comedy series "Bad and Crazy" with Korean heartthrob Lee Dong Wook, where his amazing acting has been recognized. The K-drama also received favorable reviews from the viewers.

The new promising actor, who emerged as a global star with Netflix's "Squid Game" will showcase another intense transformation in "The Worst Evil." 

 Wi Ha Joon's New K-Dramas To Anticipate

Furthermore, the "Midnight" actor is booked and busy with dramas. In January, the "18 Again" star confirmed his participation in the upcoming K-series "Little Women." He will work with South Korean top stars Kim Go Eun, Nam Ji Hyun, and Park Ji Hoo. The much-awaited drama is reportedly to premiere in the second half of 2022.

Making a huge leap in his career, Wi Ha Joon has another booked drama to appear in. The male star has officially joined the powerful cast of soon to be released historical romance series "Gyeongseong Creature" previously known as "K Project."

Wi Ha Joon is expected to act with Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee in this project. It has been said the filming production has already begun, and has the goal to premiere in the first half of 2023.
