‘Yumi’s Cells 2’ Introduces Kim Go Eun’s Friends to Lovers Romance With Jinyoung
"Yumi's Cells" season 2 has released the character posters of Kim Go Eun and GOT7's Jinyoung.
The latest teaser hints at Kim Yumi, played by the "Goblin" star and her budding romance with Yoo Bobby, played by the singer-actor.
Kim Go Eun's new drama is a webtoon-based series that focuses on Kim Yumi's extraordinary life. Apart from her relationships, "Yumi's Cells" also follows the life of her adorable cells at Sepho village, led by her primary cell, the Love cell.

TVING introduces the character growth between Kim Go Eun and GOT7 Jinyoung's roles. From being office workers to friends, "Yumi's Cells" season 2 will feature how their relationship grew as lovers.
The highly anticipated sequel will also illustrate the dynamics between Yumi and Yoo Bobby.
As seen on the new official poster, Kim Yumi poses alongside Love feel with a phrase that says, "I want to get to know you better," suggesting that she is willing to take things up a notch and discover more about Yoo Bobby.
The same goes for the new male lead introducing Yoo Bobby's version of her love cell.
In the second character poster, it says, "Is it okay for me to start now?" hinting that he was determined to start a new romance with Yumi.

With TVING gearing up with an interesting teaser, enticing viewers with an exciting sequel, "Yumi's Cells" season 2 release date is set to hit the small screens on June 10, this time with a total of 14 episodes.
'Yumi's Cells' Season 2: What to Expect in Kim Go Eun and GOT7 Jinyoung's Team-Up
Before the first season aired, "Yumi's Cells" director Lee Sang Yeob revealed that the webtoon-based K-drama would have multiple seasons, highlighting the different stages in Yumi's life.
On the other hand, screenwriter Song Jae Jung previously shared to Newsen that the second season focuses on the love story of a new pair-Yumi and Yoo Bobby.
Some cast members will reprise their roles for Kim Go Eun's much-awaited K-drama.
"Yumi's Cells" season 2 cast includes Ahn Bo Hyun, who played Yumi's ex-boyfriend Goo Wong, Park Ji Hyun as Seo Sae Yi, Goo Wong's college friend and Lee Yoo Bi, Yumi and Yoo Bobby's officemate, Rubi.
With the upcoming sequel, viewers will get to see how Yumi, with the help of her cells, finds her true love through Yoo Bobby. Will this be as painful as her relationship with Goo Wong, or will it have a happy ending?
