TVING released another heart-fluttering teaser featuring the two lead stars as the network gears up for the much-awaited sequel.
'Yumi's Cells' Season 2 Showcases Kim Go Eun and GOT7 Jinyoung's Chemistry
In the latest official poster of "Yumi's Cells" season 2, Kim Go Eun, who plays the titular role of Kim Yumi, and GOT7's Jinyoung, who took the role of Yoo Bobby, flaunt their undeniable chemistry.
Yumi was swooned over by Yoo Bobby's charm as he looked straight into her eyes.
The same goes for the duo's primary cells, which also mimic Yumi and Yoo Bobby's expressions.
Helmed by the "Shopping King Louie" director Lee Sang Yeob and penned by screenwriters Song Jae Jung, Kim Yoon Joo, Kim Kyung Ran, the webtoon based K-drama follows the story of an ordinary office girl, living an extraordinary life.
Interestingly, her daily life, which includes her emotions and decisions, is also controlled by her adorable cells at Sepho Village, headed by Love Cells.
In addition, "Yumi's Cells" season 2 will also feature her journey of finding true love; this time, it's with her co-worker Yoo Bobby.

To recall, season 1 featured Yumi's love line with Goo Woong, played by Ahn Bo Hyun.
The two had a love at first sight after meeting on a blind date set by their common friend, Chae Woo Ki, played by SHINee's Minho.
Unfortunately, because of misunderstanding and different outlooks on life, Yumi and Goo Woong had a mutual decision to break up.
As "Yumi Cells" returns for season 2, it hints at Kim Yumi's friend to lovers romance with Yoo Bobby.
Jinyoung's character was introduced in the middle part of the first season. Although it suggests a possible romance between the two, at the time, both of them were in a different relationship.
Interestingly, season 2 will highlight their character growth as well as their budding romance.
According to MBN Star, the production team teases viewers with what to expect in "Yumi's Cells" season 2.
"A thrilling change is coming to Yumi and Bobby's emotional lines. Please look forward to the sweet change that will awaken even the love cells of the viewers," a representative shared.
