Kim Min Ju To Possibly Work With Kim Young Dae in New Drama
On June 8, according to a media outlet, former IZ*ONE member Kim Min Ju is courted to star in the forthcoming MBC drama "Joseon's Ban Marriage" (working title). If she accepts the role, the singer-actress is expected to work with Kim Young Dae, Park Joo Hyun, and Kwon Hyun Bin.

Though the report did not mention the role that she could possibly portray, Kim Min Ju's fans are already looking forward to her small-screen comeback. The female star made a hiatus in the acting field after her independent film "The Fault Is Not Yours" in 2019 concluded.

On the other hand, "Joseon's Ban Marriage" is based on a famous popular novel of the same name. It is a fusion historical romance series that depicts the story of a young king who bans marriage in Joseon after he lost his beloved wife.
One day a strange woman shows up in front of the king and claims that the spirit of the former queen possessed her.

Furthermore, "Joseon's Ban Marriage" is said to premiere in the fourth quarter of this year.
Who is Kim Min Ju?
Kim Min Ju is a former member of the famous South Korean-Japanese girl group IZ*ONE. The group was formed after they appeared in Mnet's girl group survival show "Produce 48." The group disbanded on April 29, 2021.

Since then, Kim Min Ju focused more on her solo activities as an actress. She is currently signed under Urban Works Media.
