‘Jinxed At First’ Episode 1-2: Will Seohyun, Na In Woo See Each Other Again?
Before its premiere, KBS2's romance fantasy series "Jinxed At First" garnered massive attention, especially after its production confirmed the meeting of Girls' Generation Seohyun and Na In Woo. The series follows the romantic meeting of an unlucky man who unexpectedly meets the goddess of fortune through fate. Here's what went down in the first two episodes of the series!
'Jinxed At First' Episode 1: Seul Bi and Gong Soo Kwang's Fateful Meeting
In "Jinxed At First," episode 1, women who can see the future are given importance as they bring immense wealth to people of power like emperors and kings.
Girls' Generation Seohyun
Because of their magical ability, they were forced to hide from the outside world. Seul Bi (Seohyun), a young and beautiful lady, and her mother are both witches who can see the future by touching one's hand.
Seon Sam Jung (Jeon Kwang Reol), a wealthy conglomerate, imprisons Seul Bi and her mother in an elegant home secretly hidden from other people.
The Seon family takes advantage of their powers, using them to gain power and richness. For 20 long years, Seul Bi was stuck in her "home" while her curiosity about the outside world grew.
Na In Wooi
She starts to get tired of doing the same things over and over again. So when Seon Min Joon (Ki Do Hoon), the son of the wealthy conglomerate, brings his friends home, the loud music blasting outside intensifies Seul Bi's curiosity.
Suddenly, a mysterious force opens the secret door while Gong Soo Kwang (Na In Woo), one of the visitors, is checking out the statues.
After escaping the secret room, Seul Bi follows Gong Soo Kwang until they arrive at his home. When Seon Sam Jung realizes she escaped and touches the latter, he orders his men to bring Gong Soo Kwang to the police for "kidnapping" Seul Bi.
Na In Woo, Seohyun
When he arrives home, Gong Soo Kwang witnesses his mother's sudden demise. He is also assaulted and attempted to be killed.
Luckily, someone finds his body and treats him while he's still unconscious. After two years of hiding, he returns to Seoul as Go Myeong Seong and lives a different life.

Seul Bi unexpectedly comes to Go Myeong Seong's fish shop. But because of what happened to the young man, she didn't understand why he acted so hostile towards her.

Their relationship becomes a hot topic at the market as all the merchants grow curious about the two characters' relationship.
Meanwhile, Seon Sam Jung frantically sends his men to look for his "lucky charm." Unbeknownst to him, his own son knows where the lady is, but he refuses to tell him her location.

Because Go Myeong Seong couldn't pay the exact money on time, one of the loan sharks decided to sell Seul Bi to a thug. Thankfully, he arrives at the place just in time to save Seul Bi.
