"Alchemy of Souls" follows the story of people from the fictional country of Daeho, where mages and sorcerers live. While protecting the harmony, a soul shifter swaps souls with a servant to avenge her dead family.
On Thursday, August 4, a representative from the production unit of "Alchemy of Souls" announced that there will be a delay in broadcasting the drama's final six episodes.

tvN's "Alchemy of Souls" representative said, "The drama will take a one week break to enhance the level of completion of the second half."
Since its premiere, the drama has been receiving endless praises for its smart use of CGI and entertaining magical elements. In the second half of the series, "Alchemy of Souls" boasts its improved and top-notch editing and entertaining effects.

Because of this, the series won't air on August 13 and 14. "Alchemy of Souls" will air normally this weekend, August 6 and 7, and deliver its episodes 15 and 16.
Jung So Min, Lee Jae Wook and Hwang Minhyun's drama continues to dominate the Hallyu scene as well as the Netflix Global charts with its intricate storyline and unrivaled comical and romantic elements.

While these are not normally "reruns," the production unit of the drama guarantees that the special broadcast clips are just as exciting as the drama episodes.

Without fail, episode 15 of "Alchemy of Souls" will be released as originally planned this Saturday, August 6.

The brand new episode will depict the budding romance of Mu Deok (Jung So Min) and Jang Uk (Lee Jae Wook), and his growing jealousy over Seo Yul (Hwang Minhyun).
