Lately, an image of South Korean actor Gong Yoo created a stir on social media as it went viral garnering more than 4 million likes. Being known for his charismatic and mature appearance, the 48-year-old actor shocked many people with a unique styling style that many found quite inappropriate for him.

According to Koreaboo, in the image, Gong Yoo posed in a look which was quite different from his regular style. The styling style consisted of features which were preferred by young women. As a result, the styling was quite confusing for most of the netizens.
The following quote from the netizens reflects their sentiments: "I really had no idea who he was when I first saw the photo...a lot of strange things are happening." Some of the comments made about the image also talked about how such a styling looked good on girls but not on a man like him. "This type of styling is done by many female models and actors, but changing the gender just makes it look weird," stated one user, a viewpoint echoed by many others.
Some comments went further to question the actor's intent or state during the photoshoot, with remarks like "This ain't it..." and "Is he drunk?" appearing among the backlash.
Despite the mixed reactions to his recent look, Gong Yoo is currently in the spotlight for a more heartwarming reason.
According to The Chosun Daily, Gong Yoo is set to reunite with fellow cast members Kim Go-eun, Lee Dong-wook, and Yoo In-na for a special program commemorating the 10th anniversary of their hit drama "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God" (commonly known as "Goblin"). The show, titled "Together, We Shine - Goblin 10th Anniversary Journey", will premiere on July 4th on tvN as part of the network's 20th Anniversary Edition.

The special captures the cast's nostalgic trip to Gangneung, a key filming location, where they recreate their chemistry and share emotional moments. A highlight video released shows Gong Yoo describing "Goblin" as the most brilliant winter of his life, while Kim Go-eun and Yoo In-na shed tears recalling their teamwork and bond over the years.
The reunion has sparked excitement among fans worldwide who remember the drama's impact, which peaked with a viewership rating of 20.5% and helped cement Gong Yoo's status as a beloved actor.
