Kim Ji Won Rumored To Be Labelmate With 'Arthdal Chronicles' Co-Star Song Joong Ki
Based on a K-media outlet on August 5, Kim Ji Won recently met up with the representatives of History D&C to discuss signing an exclusive contract. In June this year, the "My Liberation Notes" lead star already parted ways with former agency Salt Entertainment.
However, Kim Ji Won nor History D&C have not released any official statement yet regarding their possible collaboration.

Furthermore, History D&C finally teamed up with Lee Jong Suk's agency A-MAN Project last April. Both parties signed a strategic partnership.

Kim Ji Won recently garnered attention for her pivotal role in the JTBC healing series "My Liberation Notes." The actress worked for the first time with Song Joong Ki in the megahit romance K drama "Descendants of the Sun" in 2016.

Three years later, the two were cast to lead tvN's fantasy-romance series "Arthdal Chronicles" season 1 in 2019. Meanwhile, in the last week of February this year, it was confirmed that "Arthdal Chronicles" will have its long-awaited sequel.

Many fans and viewers got excited about the news. However, its original lead stars Song Joong Ki and Kim Ji Won, might not reprise their roles anymore. It was rumored that "Run On" actress Shin Se Kyung and "Flower of Evil" actor Lee Joon Gi are potential actors to take over the drama.
In addition, Joong Ki might not join the project as he has a jam-packed schedule for filming his upcoming screen comebacks.
