Lee Do Hyun's agency, Yuehua Entertainment, released a statement regarding the hacking incident of the actor's Instagram account. 

Fans expressed their worries after the official account of the "Youth of May" star, which has 5.5 million followers, contains bizarre photos which include a Brazilian flag, rats, and a random person. 

In addition, his previous photos were also deleted. Following Lee Do Hyun's Instagram hacking incident, the account is currently not available.

With this, his label, Yuehua Entertainment has responded through an official statement. 

As obtained by an outlet, Lee Do Hyun's agency said that they are taking measures to recover and will do their best to resolve this issue immediately.

"On the morning of the 24th, hacking activity was detected such as blocking administrator access to actor Lee Do Hyun's personal SNS account and deleting posts. Accordingly, we are requesting recovery and action for the hacking damage from the head office, and we are doing our best to resolve this issue as soon as possible."

Moreover, Yuehua Entertainment also notified the fans regarding the recent activities on Lee Do Hyun's Instagram pointing out that anything uploaded on his social media account "has nothing to do with the actor."

Lastly, the talent label also apologized for causing concern and reiterated that they will do their "best to recover quickly."

The "Melancholia" star is the recent Korean celebrity who was victimized by SNS hacking. Besides Lee Do Hyun, Sandara Park of 2NE1 fell victim to Instagram hacking in 2017. 

In 2020, BLACKPINK Jennie's Instagram was hacked but was able to be retrieved after two months.

While his agency resolves the issue regarding the IG hacking incident, Lee Do Hyun is set to have back-to-back K-dramas in 2023. 

After the melodrama "Melancholia" with Im Soo Jung, the 27-year-old rising star will headline a revenge K-drama with Song Hye Kyo.

"The Glory" (helmed by Ahn Gil Ho of "Memories of the Alhambra," "Stranger," "Record of Youth" and "Happiness," and penned by the renowned Kim Eun Sook of "Descendants of the Sun," "Mr. Sunshine," ''The King: Eternal Monarch" and more) is Lee Do Hyun's comeback to the small screen. 

The same goes for Song Hye Kyo whose last project was the romantic drama "Now, We Are Breaking Up" with Jang Ki Yong. 

As for the new team-up, the Hallyu queen took the role of Moon Dong Eun, who had to give up her dream after experiencing harassment and school bullying. Years later, she crossed paths with her bullies' son and became her homeroom teacher. 

Joining Song Hye Kyo and Lee Do Hyun are Im Ji Yeon, Jung Sung Il, Park Sung Hoon, and Yeom Hye Ran as lead stars.

Apart from "The Glory," which is slated to premiere sometime in 2023, Lee Do Hyun is also offered to play the male lead in the upcoming family drama "Bad Mother."

If the actor officially accepts the offer, he will be Ra Mi Ran's onscreen son.
