‘Adamas’ Episode 9: Ji Sung Gets Mislead About the Real Adamas
A shocking reversal of story featured in "Adamas" Episode 9 as Ji Sung and his allies are clueless about the location of the real Adamas.
As Haesong, along with Team A is gearing up for the 80th Anniversary, which is a significant moment for the chairman and his successor, the twins are laying out plans to get their hands on the Adamas but the one that Chairman Kwon has is fake.
'Adamas' Episode 9: Truth About Kwon Minjo
The latest episode also touches on Kwon Minjo's sudden death.
In "Adamas" episode 9, Ms. Kwon, the trusted aide of the chairman, spoke to him about the ulterior motive of Ha Woo Shin. She said that the writer is working on something about the secrets of Haesong, involving the chairman's late son.
Ms. Kwon pointed out that it was only to protect the chairman from exposing the truth about Minjo's death.
However, her statement made the chairman furious as she thinks that the death of his son was planned by the chairman.
"Do you think I will kill my own son?" Chairman Kwon asked his aide and was kicked out of the room out of anger.
With this, a flashback of Minjo and his older brother and soon-to-be Haesong Chairman Kwon Hyun Jo having a heated discussion about the illegal activities of his father.
Upon knowing the truth through Team A's former leader Lee Chang Woo, Minjo warned his brother about barring the chairman regarding his plans.
However, in one scene, Minjo assured that his father won't do any harm to him but Kwon Hyun Jo thinks otherwise, hinting that it was him who planned the accident.
Song Soo Hyun in Search of the Adamas
The ninth episode also featured Song Soo Hyun looking after the Adamas.
After his recovery from the hospital due to attempted murder, Prosecutor Song got a tip that Adamas was with the jeweler Ms. Jang.
At the place where Ms. Jang is, he saw Mr. Lee bringing out a bag containing the rare gem.

Upon checking the area, he saw the lifeless body of Ms. Jang hanging in the hallway.
Thankfully, he and reporter Kim Seo Hee were able to escape thanks to Eun Hye Soo, who they accidentally bumped into.
Where is the Real Adamas?
In the latter part of "Adamas" episode 9, Ha Woo Shin laid out plan B to Haesong's Security Manager Choi Tae Sung, whom he had been collaborating with.
The writer revealed that he is planning to risk his life by trying to get caught stealing the murder weapon, which will be handed to him as the head of the security.
However, in the last scene, Lee Chang Woo meets Team A's Mr. Lee and tries to mess with his head saying that his biological son, Song Soo Hyun, was dead.
Of course, it made Lee Chang Woo furious and warned him not to mess with his sons.
Here, Mr. Lee attempts to make a deal with Lee Chang Woo and asks him the location of the real Adamas.
It turns out that the one that the Chairman had was fake while the real Adamas was with Lee Chang Woo all along.
