Jung Hae In's Drama 'Connect' To Premiere in December

Based on the Newsis report on September 7, the series "Connect," helmed by Japanese director Takashi Miike, is set to meet the viewers this coming December. 

Though the exact date is yet to be announced, Jung Hae In and Go Kyung Pyo are ready to showcase their chemistry after appearing on Netflix drama "D.P."

K-Drama 'Connect': What We Know So Far About Mystery Series

"Connect" follows the story of a mysterious man who has been deprived of a part of his body by organ hunters and becomes connected with the person who has received an organ transplant. 

Dong Soo (played by Jung Hae In) is kidnapped by an organ trafficking organization and loses one of his eyes. Later on, he finds out that his eye has been transplanted to a serial killer Jin Seop (played by Go Kyung Pyo), and chases after him.

"Kingdom" actress Kim Hye Joon also confirmed her participation in the series and is expected to portray the role of Lee Rang, Dong Soo's assistant. 

Award-winning Japanese renowned director Takashi Miike, who will make his first-ever K-drama, is excited about the series. 

Jung Hae In Looks Forward to Takashi Miike's 'Connect'

In the recent interview of "Connect's" lead actor Jung Hae In, the celebrity mentioned he was excited to work with the brilliant director. The "Something in the Rain" star also praised Director Takashi for being experimental and trying out new things for the project. 

Jung Hae In also told the fans that he had already seen some scenes while recording the post-recording, also noting that it came out well. He said he looks forward to finally seeing the drama.

"Connect" will air on the famous online streaming platform Disney+.

Meanwhile, Jung Hae In's co-star Go Kyung Pyo will have his drama return first this September 21 in tvN's rom-com series "Love in Contract." The actor will work with K-drama rom-com queen Park Min Young. 

Jung Hae In, on the other hand, will reprise his role in the forthcoming sequel of the military-themed series "D.P."
