Singer-actress Jung Chaeyeon announced that she will undergo surgery after sustaining severe injuries on the set of forthcoming series "Golden Spoon"!

MBC's new series "Golden Spoon" starring BTOB Sungjae and Jung Chaeyeon is currently in the works, filming additional details and scenes with the main leads.
On September 10, Jung Chaeyeon accidentally fell on the stairs on the filming set and sustained a collarbone fracture. She was rushed to the hospital immediately.
After a series of tests, she also showed mild symptoms of concussion. Even more so, she was transferred to a more suitable hospital in Seoul, and is currently receiving proper treatment.
The singer-actress will undergo surgery after another series of tests which will determine other fractures and injuries in her body.
MBK Entertainment expresses their sincerest thanks to the fans who extended their worries and concern for the artists. The company also eases the fans as they promise to give Jung Chaeyeon all the help she needs to recover.

While Jung Chaeyeon receives proper treatment for her injuries, the production unit of "Golden Spoon" will use the time to film the remaining scenes needed to beautify the series.
Thankfully, the primary scenes of Jung Chaeyeon and Yook Sungjae were filmed prior to the unexpected accident, and are currently in its post-production process.
"Golden Spoon" follows the story of a young man who acquires a "golden spoon" after growing up in poverty.
