2022 Asian Academy Creative Awards Announces the K-Drama Nominees
Based on a report from Asia Today on October 11, the names of the Korean series that received nominations for the 2022 Asian Academy Creative Awards (AACA) to be held in Singapore are finally revealed.
The said awarding ceremony happens every December, it is also named Asia's largest content awards ceremony that reviews and awards the Asian content market for the whole year. Since the pandemic happened, the event was held online for the past two years. Fortunately, as things start to get better now, the offline awards ceremony will resume in December.

Good news, four titles produced by one of the top-performing K-content production company Studio Dragon were nominated for this year's AACA.
'Hometown Cha Cha Cha's' Yoo Je Won Nominated for Best Director
Director Yoo Je Won of "Hometown Cha Cha Cha" is nominated for Best Director. He was also the man behind the numerous drama hits "Hi Bye, Mama!" and "Oh My Ghost."
"Hometown Cha Cha Cha" was well-received for portraying romance between male and female protagonists and harmony of villagers against the backdrop of a beautiful neighborhood.
'Twenty Five, Twenty One' for Best Drama
"Twenty Five, Twenty One" successfully entered the list for the Best Drama Series category. This drama was loved by viewers for its refreshing romance about the wandering and growth of young people who were deprived of their dreams in the year 1998.
In particular, Studio Dragon's "Crash Landing On You" won the Best Drama Series in 2020.
Noh Hee Kyung of 'Our Blues' For Best Screen Play
Next is Noh Hee Kyung of "Our Blues," who is named in the Best Screen Play category. Lastly, "Yumi's Cells" seasons 1 and 2 are nominated in the Best Original Program by Streamer also known as the OTT category. This TVING series is based on webtoons of the same name and has received rave reviews for its successful webtoon-based drama.
Meanwhile, the AACA Awards, will compete with various works from countries including Malaysia, Taiwan, Singapore, China, Japan, Australia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and the Philippines. The event will happen from December 7 to 8 in Singapore.
