Rising star Joo Se Bin steals the spotlight in her current drama "The Empire" for her headturner looks. Since the beginning of her career, she has been lauded for her one of a kind visuals, which became her edge in her journey as an idol-actress.

Idol-turned-actress Joo Se Bin creates buzz in the online Hallyu community for her scene-stealing looks in "The Empire"!

The 25-year-old star currently appears as Hong Nan Hee, an engineer who attends law school who avenges her father, leaving a great impression.

Apart from her captivating acting technique, Joo Se Bin steals the attention of the viewers with her exotic beauty, which fans described as "mixed Asian beauty."

Joo Se Bin was born to both South Korean parents. Unlike speculations, the idol-actress doesn't have any mixed blood in spite of her foreign-like visuals.

Hong Nan Hee's character in the JTBC drama "The Empire" receives the spotlight, making everyone look forward to her acting activities in the near future.

Joo Se Bin's 'Idol School' and Transition To Television

Idol-turned-actress Joo Se Bin began her career in 2012 as a member of the girl group "Tiny G." After her time, she entered Dongguk University's Department of Theater to become an actress.

While simultaneously making a name for herself in the television scene, she appeared on Mnet's "Idol School" as Kim Myung Ji in 2017.

Unfortunately, she wasn't able to join the official debut line up. In 2019, she transformed into Na Ye Ri, a self-proclaimed idol in the 2019 thriller series "Class of Lies."

Thanks to the drama, she was able to bag bigger roles in popular works such as "True Beauty," "Fly, Again," "The Girl in a Tiny Room" and most recently, "The Empire."

'The Empire' Release Date and Where To Watch

Joo Se Bin is currently dominating the small screen for her acting role in the JTBC law drama "The Empire" with Kim Sun Ah, Ahn Jae Wook and Lee Mi Sook.

The series tackles the stories of the nation's top law-abiding families and their deepest desires, scandals and more.

Shin Goo, Oh Hyun Kyung, Lee Moon Sik, Han Joon Woo and more are also part of the cast ensemble.

The drama aired for the first time in September, however, "The Empire" failed to receive a high rating during its premiere.

Thankfully, the drama is slowly rising to the top, and records a new high score with its latest episode.

The production unit of the drama hopes to receive a new high rating in the coming episodes. Catch "The Empire" every Saturday and Sunday on JTBC at 10:30 p.m. KST!
