In a report, an article titled "IU's Yoo Ah In's dating rumors exploded' was posted on web portals, claiming that the two are secretly dating.

The dating rumors sparked after the Hallyu stars were spotted together in the streets of Milan to attend a fashion event.

According to reports Yoo Ah In and IU were both surprised to see each other as they did not expect to meet in Italy. This is because they are both invited to attend Milan Fashion Week 2022.

Yoo Ah In graced Bottega Venetta's summer 2023 collection while IU was invited to watch Gucci's collection.

Apart from the two, several Korean celebrities were also spotted at various fashion shows.

Lee Min Ho attended Boss' Spring Summer 2022 show where he serves as the brand ambassador while Kim Tae Ri was spotted at Prada's show.

Based on the photos taken by fans that circulated on social media, they greeted and spoke to each other briefly before saying goodbye and walking in different directions.

The unexpected encounter between the duo sparked a major frenzy as the public was delighted to see each other in one frame.

This is also the main reason why Yoo Ah In and IU were rumored to be secretly dating.

Before the unexpected encounter in the streets of Milan, fans are shipping IU and Yoo Ah In after the surprising incident in the 2010 Golden Disk Awards.

It came after Park Min Young went on the stage to present an award along with the "Hellbound" actor.

The actress surprised the audience and of course, IU after she revealed the singer-actress ideal type.

Interestingly, the actor responded, "IU, I love you too!"

However, in a show, IU revealed why she named Yoo Ah In as her ideal type.

According to an outlet, she mentioned in "Mnet Wide" that her mom jokingly said that she would disown her if IU mentioned Taeyang's name again on broadcast programs,

"That's why I named Yoo Ah In as my ideal man instead of Taeyang," she said.

From shows and being active in music, IU is also starring in multiple on-screen projects in the coming year.

Apart from his movie with Park Seo Joon for the sports-themed film "Dream", she is also in talks to headline an upcoming K-drama "Life" with Park Bo Gum.

This will be her K-drama comeback after the hit series "Hotel Del Luna."
