'Money Heist Korea Part 2' To Focus On New Narrative Than Original Plot

The biggest heist in South Korea is back with a new bolder, bigger and more exciting installment!

After dominating the small screen last summer, "Money Heist Korea: Joint Economic Area" is finally dropping its Part 2 this winter!

Like its original predecessor, the Netflix series depicts the hostage and robbing stunt of genius strategists and robbers amidst the reunification of North and South Korea.

"Money Heist Korea Part 1" was an instant success which enjoyed a syndrome-level popularity. This December, the series delivers a new unpredictable narrative that will blow the viewers' minds.

In Part 2, "Money Heist Korea" will carry out their plan to strike the goal. However, the production unit of the series surprises fans with the news: the second part of the series will follow a more South Korean-centered storyline!

While the first part had minor changes, Part 2 will focus more on the plot that was injected which included the reunification of two opposing nations.

'Money Heist Korea' Writer On Creating New Plot

Ryu Young Jae, the writer of the Netflix series, feels honored and thankful to the public for their warm welcome to his work, "Money Heist Korea."

His sole purpose in creating the drama is to make other countries appreciate Asian works and their culture through consumable media. With this, the incorporation of South Korean symbolisms and culture came in naturally.

In addition to that, he came up with the Hahoe masks-the South Korean version of the Dali masks-that were included in the remake.
