‘Behind Every Star’ Cast: Star-Studded Cameos Featured in Lee Seo Jin, Kwak Sun Young’s Drama
"Behind Every Star," which headlines Lee Seo Jin, Kwak Sun Young, Seo Hyun Woo, and Joo Hyun Young, follows the story of people working behind the camera. These people are responsible for the upcoming projects and image of a particular celebrity.
In the rom-com K-drama, Lee Seo Jin took the role of Method Entertainment's Director Ma Tae Oh who supervises the company after the chairman passed away.
Along with him are the senior managers Chun Je In and Kim Joong Don played by Kwak Sun Young and Seo Hyun Woo. The duo are responsible for keeping their clients booked and busy while Joo Hyun Young, plays the rookie agent So Hyun Jo.
Interestingly, "Behind Every Star" is a Korean adaptation of the French TV series "Call My Agent!"
Apart from its roster of talented lead stars, the rom-com K-drama boasts a star-studded cameo featuring veteran and top stars.
Cho Yeo Jung (Episode 1)
Best known for her role as Choi Yun Gyo in the Academy Award-winning film "Parasite", Cho Yeo Jung appeared in "Behind Every Star" as herself and one of the beloved clients of Method Entertainment, working under Kim Joong Don.
In the episode, Cho Yeo Jung almost left the agency after she was dropped out of a Hollywood project due to her age.
Lee Hee Joon and Jin Seon Kyu (Episode 2)
These two versatile stars made a special appearance in episode 2 posing as Method Entertainment chairman's favorite clients.
Lee Hee Joon and Jin Seon Kyu mourn the passing of the chairman but had a chaotic reunion after they found out that the project was initially offered to Lee Hee Joon but ended up with Jin Seon Kyu.

Kim Soo Mi and Seo Hyo Rim (Episode 3)
In episode 3, veteran actress Kim Soo Mi and Seo Hyo Rim illustrate a feud between a mother-in-law and a daughter-in-law.
Both tried to sabotage the casting to avoid working together but ended up getting busted.
Interestingly, the director and drama officials liked their real dynamics and chose to cast them both since the character portrays a mother-in-law and a daughter-in-law who couldn't get along.
Claudia Kim (Episode 5)
Another beloved talent of Method Entertainment is Claudia Kim who is known for her appearance in "Avengers" however, despite her global fame, she is not well known in South Korea.
After giving birth, she decided to return to showbiz but refused to be part of rom-com projects. For the actress, her strengths are mostly action-packed series and movies.
However, a tricky situation skyrocketed her fame. It came after she was recorded beating a group of thugs while protecting her daughter.
With this, she booked various deals and ends up headlining action projects.
Park Ho San and Oh Na Ra (Episode 6)
In "Behind Every Star" episode 6, it featured the love-hate relationship of veteran stars Park Ho San and Oh Na Ra who used to work in "My Mister."
Their rift almost cost the production to wrap up the project but thankfully the two senior managers stepped up their A-game and managed to patch things up with the two stars.
