Kim Min Gyu has finally announced his plans to enlist in the military, which left fans with mixed feelings.
On Friday, November 25, Kim Min Gyu's agency, Happy Tribe Entertainment, officially confirmed that the actor plans to enlist ahead of his much anticipated drama return.
Previously, Kim Min Gyu was cast in the new idol romance series "Sacred Idol (literal translation)" with Go Bo Gyeol.

Happy Tribe Entertainment stated that the actor's enlistment date hasn't been finalized yet but since Kim Min Gyu has already decided, the actor will pre-record his press conference for the drama.
Kim Min Gyu, who was born in 1994, is turning 28 years old in December. Although he hasn't received his draft notice yet, he's already preparing for his upcoming enlistment.
Meanwhile, the actor's upcoming romance drama "Sacred Idol" is scheduled to premiere in the first half of 2023.
