Choi Sooyoung alongside Yoon Park joined forces for the mini-series "Fanletter, Please." Despite the low viewership, the drama is praised for these reasons. Curious about the series? Then keep on reading the article.

'Fanletter, Please' Declines Viewership Rating

SNSD Sooyoung currently stars in the Friday-Saturday K-drama "Fanletter, Please," which is also known as "Please Send a Fan Letter." It has only four episodes, and so far 2 episodes have been released. However, the drama has recorded low ratings since it premiered.

It is a challenge for the team to maintain a good viewership standing since "Fanletter, Please" is broadcast in the same slot as the trending dramas "Reborn Rich" and "Under the Queen's Umbrella."

"Fanletter, Please" episode 1 managed to have a 2 percent viewership rating. Then in the second episode, the rating dropped to 1.3 percent. Nevertheless, viewers and fans who have watched the pilot episodes broadcast have nothing but praise for it.

Choi Sooyoung & Yoon Park Praise For Their Strong On Screen Chemistry

One of the highly praised in the show is the chemistry between its lead stars Sooyoung and Yoon Park.

This is Choi Sooyoung's next acting project after finishing the healing drama "If You Wish Upon Me" and the same as with her leading man, Yoon Park following "Forecasting Love and Weather."

"Fanletter, Please" follows the journey of Han Kang Hee (Choi Sooyoung), who debuted as a child actress and has since enjoyed her popularity. Unfortunately, after her recent movie received backlash from the public, she began to avoid people and was even afraid of reading fan letters, which she used to enjoy before.

In the middle of this crisis, she crossed paths with her first love, Jeong Seok (Yoon Park). He was once a heartthrob in school but is now a single father of a sick daughter. His daughter's name is Yu Na, and interestingly a big fan of Han Kang Hee. She often sends fan letters to her.

One day, the letter did not deliver, causing Jeong Seok to rewrite it and accidentally reunite with his schoolmate.

Within the first two episodes, as the story progresses, SNSD's Sooyoung and Yoon Park have appeared in two roles - as innocent high school students and as troubled adults. Despite it being their first time working together, their chemistry looks natural and convincing, making the viewers' eyes glued to screen and enjoy watching the lead stars' undeniable synergy.
