According to multiple officials from MBC, Suh Jang Hoon, in addition to Kim Goo Ra, Kim Min Jong, and Kim Jae Won, is to host MBC's new outdoor variety entertainment program which is to be aired in the beginning of January, 2014.

Through this program, Suh Jang Hoon, Kim Goo Ra, Kim Min Jong, and Kim Jae Won are to get together as the hosts and fixed members for this untitled entertainment program, which deals with the parents' love for their children. Among the fixed members, a former basketball player Suh Jang Hoon is attracting most of the audiences' attention. Suh Jang Hoon had played in KBL until last season, and had not been playing much basketball after his retirement. He has been enjoying taking time off from basketball, such as visiting the United States for personal reasons.

This is not Suh Jang Hoon's first appearance in the entertainment program. He had appeared in MBC programs such as "Keep Drop Guru" and "Infinite Challenge," showing off his humors and wits.

Suh Jang Hoon said in an interview, "I was in the United States after the retirement. I spent busy days because I had a lot of personal responsibilities. I never thought I would star in an entertainment program again. However, PD Kang Yong Sun, program's writers and staff members persuaded me to star in the program for two months, and I decided to play the part."
