Song Joong Ki Ends Kim Hye Soo’s Perfect Streak in Most Buzzworthy Drama, Actor Rankings

Song Joong Ki is back to dominating the weekly rankings of Most Buzzworthy Drama and Actor after beating Kim Hye Soo's "Under the Queen's Umbrella."

The rankings are based on the data collected by Good Data Corporation which determines the series and celebrities that garnered much attention.

It is according to the data collected from blog posts, news articles, online communities, and social media postings about current and upcoming K-dramas along with its stars who are generating the most buzz.

'Reborn Rich' Hailed as the New Most Buzzworthy Drama

For the third week of November, Song Joong Ki's new drama "Reborn Rich" stole the spot after jumping into first place as Most Buzzworthy Drama.

According to Good Data Corporation, the newest JTBC series garnered 31.73 points, making it the week's most talked-about drama.

Interestingly, Song Joong Ki's drama made its debut on November 18 and landed an impressive viewership rating.

In addition, "Reborn Rich" episode 2 climbed to having a double-digit rating.

As for the previous top series, "Under the Queen's Umbrella" slid to second place with 17.56 points.

Surprisingly, an upcoming K-drama "Alchemy of Souls Part 2" entered the chart despite the tvN series not airing its pilot episode.

The broadcast network recently unveiled the drama's teaser, hinting at what and who to expect in the much-awaited series.

Interestingly, another new drama series entered the chart with none other than the ENA Kdrama Summer Strike.

Song Joong Ki Surpasses Kim Hye Soo's Reign as Most Buzzworthy Actor

Apart from the drama, Song Joong Ki also beat Kim Hye Soo after being hailed as the new Most Buzzworthy Actor.

For the latest ranking, the Hallyu actor ended the award-winning actress' reign in the category.

It can be recalled that since "Under the Queen's Umbrella" premiered, Kim Hye Soo has been in the top spot for weeks.

Now, the 37-year-old actor leads the rankings as he plays a dual role in "Reborn Rich."

Joining Song Joong Ki is co-star Lee Sung Min who plays Soonyang Group's father, Jin Yang Chul.

Meanwhile, "Under the Queen's Umbrella" dominated the rankings after five of its cast members entered the chart.

It includes Kim Hye Soo in second place, followed by Moon Sang Min and Bae In Hyuk in fifth and sixth place, while Kim Hae Sook and newcomer Oh Ye Ju are at ninth and tenth place.
