This 2022, Park Eun Bin's "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" and Lee Min Ho's "Pachinko" receive recognition from the US Critics' Choice Awards.

'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' & 'Pachinko' Nominated For Best Drama

The South Korean industry once again receives a nod for its outstanding works in the drama category!

In 2021, Lee Jung Jae's "Squid Game," which became the new South Korean drama craze, was nominated for the Best Drama at the 27th Critics' Choice Awards, proving the drama's immense popularity.

On Wednesday, December 7, the Critics' Choice Association (CCA) announced its new nominees for the 28th Critics' Choice Awards.

It named Netflix's "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" and Apple TV's "Pachinko" as nominees for Best Drama in the Foreign Language category, along with the Danish series "Borgen," Israeli series "Tehran" and more.

Because of the intricate storylines of "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" and "Pachinko," the dramas delivered award-winning performances, stealing the attention of the global audiences.

It is the second time that South Korean works have been nominated at the prestigious show. Expectations are high whether "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" and "Pachinko" will be able to receive recognition on the world stage again.

Furthermore, the 28th Critics' Choice Awards will be held at the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles, California on January 15, 2023.

'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' Cast To Make Cameo In 'Dr. Romantic 3'

"Extraordinary Attorney Woo" actors Joo Hyun Young, Joo Jong Hyuk, Ha Yoon Kyung and Lim Sung Jae are collaborating once again in a new project!

On December 6, the production unit of "Dr. Romantic" confirmed that Joo Hyun Young, Joo Jong Hyuk, Ha Yoon Kyung and Lim Sung Jae will participate in the forthcoming third installment of the series.

While their respectives roles weren't announced yet, the quartet is expected to showcase their quirky and uplifting performances in "Dr. Romantic 3."

The four actors built a great relationship with each other, as well as the director, during their time as colleagues in "Extraordinary Attorney Woo."

Joo Hyun Young stole the show as Dong Geurami while Joo Jong Hyuk divided the viewers with his role as Kwon Tactician. 

Ha Yoon Kyung also left a heartwarming impression as Park Eun Bin's Spring Sunshine. Lim Sung Jae also became a fan-favorite as the kimbap hairy chef in the series.
