Joo Hyun Young, More To Play Cameo Roles In 'Dr. Romantic 3'

"Extraordinary Attorney Woo" actors Joo Hyun Young, Joo Jong Hyuk, Ha Yoon Kyung and Lim Sung Jae reunite for a new project!

On Tuesday, December 6, the cast of the hit legal series "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" including Joo Hyun Young, Joo Jong Hyuk, Ha Yoon Kyung and Lim Sung Jae were confirmed to participate in the forthcoming third installment of "Dr. Romantic."

Because of this great relationship with the director of both of the dramas, they were asked to make special cameos at the beginning of the series.

Through "Extraordinary Attorney Woo," the four rising actors showed off their chemistry as Park Eun Bin's friends and colleagues. Joo Hyun Young received love as Dong Geurami while Joo Jong Hyuk polarized the viewers with his role as Kwon Tactician.

Spring Sunshine Ha Yoon Kyung moved the hearts of the viewers, and Lim Sung Jae became the fans' favorite kimbap chef.

"Extraordinary Attorney Woo" scored an average rating of 17.5%, which made history for ENA Channel. It also topped Netflix global charts in countries like Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia and more for eight consecutive weeks.

While their roles in "Dr. Romantic 3" aren't disclosed yet, Joo Hyun Young, Joo Jong Hyuk, Ha Yoon Kyung and Lim Sung Jae are expected to brighten the mood with their appearance and quirky personalities.

'Dr. Romantic 3' Begins Filming

It's not everyday a K-drama is green-lit for a new season! The medical series "Dr. Romantic" which tells the story of a genius doctor who works at an under budgeted hospital is gearing up for its third season!

The first season, which aired in 2016, received an average rating of 27.6% while the second season scored the highest rating of 27.1%.

Season 3 will be headlined by Lee Sung Kyung and Ahn Hyo Seop, the lead actors of the second season of the franchise. Season 1 stars Yoo Yeon Seok and Seo Hyun Jin will also join the series with supporting roles.

Han Suk Kyu reprises his role, making him the only original cast member to headline all three installments of "Dr. Romantic."

Filming began in late September with the supervision of scriptwriters Kang Eun Kyung and Lim Hye Min and director Yoo In Suk. The drama is expected to hit the screen in early 2023.
