Seo In Guk Hints At 'Reply 1997' 10th Anniversary Surprise For Fans

It has been 10 years since the first episode of the hit series "Reply 1977" hit the small screen, and fans are in for a treat as the cast of the series prepares an exciting surprise!

On Thursday, December 8, singer and actor Seo In Guk appeared as a guest in MBC's radio program "Kim Shin Young's Noon Song of Hope" to promote his new single "Fallen."

While he displayed his excitement for his new track release, he also opened up about how fulfilled he is as he celebrates his decade-long career as an actor.

Seo In Guk made his buzzworthy debut in 2012 with the KBS drama "Love Rain." Many years have passed and the actor has changed for the better over time but according to him, he still feels like a humble rookie actor.

In the same year, he landed his first ever lead acting role in the first installment of tvN's "Reply" franchise. Along with fellow singer-actor Jung Eunji, he decorated "Reply 1997."

The work also turns 10 this 2022. When asked if he still communicates with his co-stars, Seo In Guk gladly lets fans in and says, "Of course. We still talk a lot online, especially Lee Si Eon who's in the same company as me."

Even more so, the actor hinted at the possible reunification of the "Reply 1997" stars. Seo In Guk stated, "I don't know if it's okay to talk about this but Lee Si Eon is curating something for the fans."

Seo In Guk also revealed that they will begin filming before the end of the year, which sends fans' anticipation to a new high.

Seo In Guk's 'Cafe Minamdang,' More

Earlier this 2022, Seo In Guk decorated the small screen with the action comedy series "Cafe Minamdang" with Oh Yeon Seo, Kang Mina and Kwak Si Yang.

Following its popularity, he returned to the big screen with Jung So Min in the action sci-fi movie "Project Wolf Hunting."

It deals with the people who transport criminals from the Philippines to South Korea. The film premiered at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival, and earned acclaim from critics around the world.
