'Goblin'

Of the remarkable K-dramas of 2016, "Goblin," which stars Kim Go Eun and Gong Yoo, depicts the story of Goryeo's unbeatable general Kim Shin who was cursed with immortality.

Meanwhile, the curse will be broken if he meets the bride, Ji Eun Tak, played by Kim Go Eun.

One of the highlights of "Goblin" is when Kim Shin asked Eun Tak to marry him. Instead of being a goblin, he proposed as his true self, Kim Shin, to be his first and last bride.

"On another day that is just so...will you be this man of Goryeo's bride?" Gong Yoo's character confesses to Kim Go Eun.

'What's Wrong With Secretary Kim'

From one iconic K-drama to another, "What's Wrong With Secretary Kim" made it to the list of K-dramas with heartfelt proposals.

Park Min Young took on the role of a loyal secretary named Kim Mi So who has been the loyal employee of Vice President Lee Young Joon, played by Park Seo Joon.

While their romance started with a professional work relationship, Lee Young Joon ended up proposing to Kim Mi Soo in a stunning setup as she walked into a candle-lit path with him waiting for her on the stage, while playing a song.

'Love in Contract'

Another Park Min Young-led drama with a heartwarming proposal is "Love in Contract."

The recently-concluded rom-com series featured the actress transformed into a professional wife for hire with Go Kyung Pyo as one of her longtime clients.

After their complicated setup, Park Min Young's character, Choi Sang Eun proposed to the very timid and anti-social Jung Ji Ho.

However, an interesting thing surprised Sang Eun after Ji Ho also planned a proposal in a lowkey but special way which she didn't expect.

'Thirty-Nine'

Things between Son Ye Jin and Yeon Woo Jin's role escalated quickly after dermatologist Kim Seon Woo proposed to Cha Mi Jo in the middle of the series.

After their against-all-odds relationship, Kim Seon Woo popped the question and got down on one knee to ask Mi Jo "will you marry me."

It was during their out-of-town date, overlooking the picturesque beach.

'Oh My Venus'

Last on the list is So Ji Sub and Shin Min Ah's "Oh My Venus."

Who would forget the iconic scarf scene in the latter part of the season when it featured the "Red" String of Fate tying the two together?

"Kang Joo Eun. I might make you a little sad. I might make it a little hard for you, too. But I'd like to spend the rest of my life with you," he said, popping the million-dollar question.
