'Weak Hero Class 1' Goes International

Park Ji Hoon, Choi Hyun Wook, Hong Kyung, and the rest of the cast members are expected to gain more recognition from a wider audience. This is because "Weak Hero Class 1" will finally be broadcast in Europe and the Middle East, following the United States and Taiwan!

Streaming platform Wavve delivered the good news on December 23 that the revenge-school K-drama has additionally confirmed airing in Europe, Oceania, India, and the Middle East through Rakuten Viki, a platform specializing in Asian content.

To recall, the drama was previously released in the U.S. and other parts of Asia and was well-received.

"Weak Hero Class 1" was also picked by both Teen Vogue and Forbes as one of the best Korean dramas of the year.

"Weak Hero Class 1" is helmed by rookie director Yoo Soo Min. It follows the story of a high school student, who only knows about studying, and confronts the violence inflicted on him by his classmates.

'Weak Hero Class 1' To Potentially Have Season 2

Park Ji Hoon, a former Wanna One member, portrayed the character of Yeon Si Eun. "Twenty Five, Twenty One" actor Choi Hyun Wook also joined the cast, alongside Hong Kyung and "Alchemy of Souls" star Shin Seung Ho.

The series originally aired on November 18 and surprisingly received massive popularity for its promising stars and wholesome story.

Furthermore, due to its continued success, the production is already discussing the potential second installment of the campus drama.
