SHINee's Choi Minho of the Netflix series "The Fabulous" talked about the high-level kiss scene he filmed with co-star Chae Soo Bin. Here's what the idol-actor said.

In his recent interview, the returning actor shared some of his experiences working on his new rom-com series "The Fabulous."
Minho said that among all the kiss scenes he had in the past, his scene in his newly-released series was on a top level.

"Since I already saw the script, I was very nervous about the scene and prepared myself for the shoot."
He added that during the filming session, he was thankful to his partner, Chae Soo Bin, for being considerate.
Minho confessed that they filmed the kissing scene for 4-5 hours.
"We filmed the scene for a very long time. The production also purposely made an Irish dining room or a long aisle for that scene. That's how much effort we put into it."

Meanwhile, regarding the chemistry with Chae Soo Bin, Minho said:
"Since we are very old friends and ex-lovers, we come out as a relationship that knows everything. It was an urgent priority to get close."

The idol-actor further explained their characters in the show.
"In order for ambiguous feelings to come out (between friends and ex-lover), we need to get closer first."

He was shy and awkward at first but ended up being close with Chae Soo Bin during the drama's production.
Apart from his co-stars, Minho also shared his relationship with the director. He mentioned that the director had the hardest time in the middle of the shoot. But as the production continued, they got close and couldn't stop exchanging ideas in between filming.
"I did a few romantic comedies, but it was my first time doing it now that I turned 30. I paid the most attention to the things where I could act with genuine emotions and made sure to show it to the viewers."

"The Fabulous" is a hyperrealistic romance series that depicts the dreams, love, and friendship of young people who have devoted their lives to the fashion world.
SHINee's Minho plays the character of Ji Woo Min, a trendy and charismatic photographer. He has everything from visuals, fashion sense, and skills, but has no passion for what he does.
However, he suddenly experiences a rapid change in emotion with Pyo Ji Eun (Chae Soo Bin), who goes back and forth between friends and flirting, and gradually grows.
The fashion-themed drama officially made its debut on Netflix last December 23.
