Based on a news cited by a media outlet on December 29, Song Hye Kyo and the other "The Glory" stars are reportedly not conducting interviews before its scheduled release.

When the news spread online, people found it "unusual" for the cast to not have them to promote the show. 

Due to this, there are raised speculations that the possible postponement of the press conference was due to Song Joong Ki's ongoing dating news.

According also to the report, with the actor's new romantic relationship being confirmed by his agency, it is possible that Song Hye Kyo may receive uncomfortable questions about her former husband instead of drama-related interviews.

Netflix Releases Statement About Postponement of 'The Glory' Press Interview

In line with this matter, Netflix representatives released a statement.

"The decision not to conduct any interviews has nothing to do with the actors. Part 2 of 'The Glory' is scheduled to be released in March 2023, and we plan on preparing a space for deeper conversations after the second part is released."

Meanwhile, "The Glory" will officially meet viewers this December 30 on Netflix. It is a thorough and sad revenge drama, in which a heroine who dreams of becoming an architect, drops out due to brutal school violence.

Years pass, and she waits until her perpetrator's child enters elementary school, and takes over as her homeroom teacher to take revenge.

This marks Song Hye Kyo's reunion with writer Kim Eun Sook, who penned the record-breaking 2016 series "Descendants of the Sun."

In the new drama, the actress plays the character of Moon Dong Eun, someone who begins to carry out the revenge she has been planning for a long time.

Joining her are Lee Do Hyun, Lim Ji Yeon, Yum Hye Ran, Park Sung Hoon, Jung Sung Il, Kim Hieora, Cha Joo Young, Kim Gun Woo, and more.
