Will Director Lee Eung Bok & Song Hye Kyo's Reunion Drama 'The Price of Confession' Happen?

While Korean superstar Song Hye Kyo is gaining attention for her  comeback with "The Glory," her next drama is also making a buzz.

In the second half of 2022, it was announced that the actress will headline "The Price of Confession" (working title), in which she will reunite with "Descendants of the Sun" director Lee Eung Bok.

However, according to a news cited by a media outlet on January 3, Lee Eung Bok, who was supposed to helm the new series, is said to be stepping down from doing the project. This is due to the conflict of schedule as the filming of Netflix's "Sweet Home" new seasons got longer than expected.

Studio Dragon, the company in charge of producing the series, released an official statement regarding the report.

"The Price of Confession" depicts the story of two women involved in a murder case. Song Hye Kyo takes the role of Ahn Yoon Soo, who gets swept up in an unexpected incident.

Model and breakout star Han So Hee is also courted to star in the drama with Song Hye Kyo. She might play the character of Mo Eun, a mysterious woman who is feared by many because of her antisocial tendencies.

This K-drama is supposed to be a reunion project for Song Hye Kyo and Director Lee, following their first team-up in the record-breaking series "Descendants of the Sun" in 2016.
