‘Alchemy of Souls Part 2’ Concludes Blissfully With Highest Rating
The fantasy-romance series "Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow," starring Lee Jae Wook and Go Yoon Jung, finally came to an end after five weeks. With its finale, the series concluded with a fairly high score, living up to Part 1's reputable ratings.
'Alchemy of Souls Part 2' Records Highest Rating With Final Episode
Lee Jae Wook and Go Yoon Jung's "Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow" finally bids goodbye to its loyal viewers after five beautiful weeks!
The tvN series released its final episode on January 8 and recorded an average nationwide rating of 9.7%, marking its highest score in its entire run.
It even surpassed the high score of 9.2% during Part 1, which aired in the summer of 2022.
In particular, "Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow" also remained as the highest rated series among other weekend dramas across cable channels in South Korea.
Despite the criticisms and fluctuating ratings that the drama received during its broadcast, "Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow" concluded on a good note, proving that it's one of the best releases in K-drama entertainment today.

'Alchemy of Souls Part 2' Finale Recap
Jang Uk and Naksu finally achieved their much deserved happy ending in the final episode of "Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow"!
Due to alchemy of souls, Jang Uk and Naksu, played by Lee Jae Wook and Go Yoon Jung, respectively, both lived a rough life in which they are at each other's throats.

Although tested by time and fate, the love they share conquered every struggle and challenge that they faced even at times that they couldn't recognize one another.
In "Alchemy of Souls" episode 30, Jang Uk saves Daeho from its impending doom, and brings an end to Jin Mu's evil plans as he burns him to the ground.
Naksu, who was trapped inside Jin Bu Yeon's (Jung So Min) mortal body, finally claimed her freedom.
The two star-crossed lovers proved that love is stronger than anything else as they exchanged their vows at the final episode, finally realizing their happily ever after.
Apart from that, Go Won (Shin Seung Ho) becomes King while Seo Yul (Hwang Minhyun) leads Songrim, training every mage to become stronger than Jang Uk.
Park Dang Gu (Yoo In Soo) and Jin Cho Yeon (Oh My Girl Arin) gave birth to two beautiful baby boys, while Maidservant Kim (Oh Na Ra) and Park Jin (Yoo Jun Sang) also promised to live a sweet lifetime with each other.
