Ok Taecyeon, Won Ji An To Headline New Romance K-Drama
On January 11, News 1 announced that Ok Taecyeon confirmed his appearance in KBS2's new Monday-Tuesday drama "My Heart Beats," also known as "My Heart is Beating."
Apart from him, the outlet also named Won Ji An as the idol-actor's newest leading lady.
Since it will be their first project collaboration, the two will show a perfect chemistry that has never been seen before.
"My Heart Beats" is a fantasy-romance series that follows the story of Sun Woo Hyeol, a half-human, and half-vampire. He has a strong desire to become a human but missed the chance because of one day out of 100 years.
Woo Hyeol is an early adopter who is required to use something new and is a famous trendsetter. During his journey, he gets involved with Joo In Hae, a contract nurse-teacher who also runs a guest house.

Unfortunately, due to her poor financial background, she has to work various part-time jobs. She is very distant so In Hae is known for being a cold-hearted person to others.
Circumstances lead Sun Woo Hyeol and Joo In Hae to live in the same house. Since then, their relationship develops romantically.
The drama will be penned by Kim Ha Na and Jung Seung Joo, while director Lee Hyun Seok is in charge of helming "My Heart Beats."
Destiny Will Put Won Ji An & Ok Taecyeon Together in 'My Heart Beats'
Ok Taecyeon takes the role of Sun Woo Hyeol.
"My Heart Beats" is the idol-actor's first project this 2023. He will transform into a half-vampire and half-human, a different character from his previous drama "Blind."
Meanwhile, Won Ji An is Joo In Hae. She became known for her appearance in Netflix's origins series "D.P."
In 2022, Ji An shared the frame with Ji Chang Wook, SNSD's Sooyoung, and Sung Dong Il through the healing drama "If You Wish Upon Me."
Furthermore, "My Heart Beats" is said to begin filming soon and is expected to premiere in the first half of this year.
