On January 16, people were ecstatic to see the news involving Park Ji Hoon as he is being courted to headline another webtoon-based series "Bastard," following his previous drama, "Weak Hero Class 1."
In addition to the casting news, rising actress Roh Yoon Seo was reported to also participate in the project as his female counterpart.
However, just a few hours on the day the possible casting was announced, Roh Yoon Seo's agency MAA released a statement saying that the "20th Century Girl" star declined to join the main cast.

"Actress Roh Yoon Seo was offered to star in the upcoming webtoon-based drama 'Bastard,' but she decided not to appear."

Though the agency stated that their artist will no longer participate in the project, MAA didn't specify the reason why Roh Yoon Seo refused the casting offer.
She was supposed to star as Yoon Gyeon.
