'The Interest of Love' Episode 9 Recap

The episode focuses on betrayal and trust as the couples experience the highs and lows of their new relationships.

In "The Interest of Love" episode 9, Park Mi Gyung noticed an odd behavior between Ha Sang Soo and Ahn Soo Young.

Initially, she thought that Sang Soo, her boyfriend, was just caring towards Ahn Soo Young; however, after reading a note written by Sang Soo, she felt an awkward feeling with the two.

Interestingly, this was where she suspected there might be romance between them.

To recall, Mi Gyung saw how her now-boyfriend defended Ahn Soo Young against their raging boss, Mr. Ku.

In addition, she often caught the two talking to each other; however, at the time, she thought it was because they're colleagues.

However, in one scene, their co-workers revealed that Ha Sang Soo was the one who complained Mr. Ku at the head office due to embezzlement.

Although she mentioned to her colleagues that it is her boyfriend's nature, she believed that ha Sang Soo did this for Ahn Soo Young.

Due to this, she showered her boyfriend with expensive gifts, thinking that material things would help her get Ha Sang Soo's love.

Unfortunately, he felt uncomfortable after Mi Gyung gave him a brand new car and millions won worth of suit.

On the other hand, Han Sang Soo found out that his office best friend and Park Mi Gyung used to date while he was in the military.

Due to the information he got regarding his girlfriend, Sang Soo thought she might be using him to get back at her ex.

As for Ahn Soo Young, she was getting tired of Jung Jong Hyun's self-pity.

At the latter part o the episode, the bank manager asked Ha Sang Soo and Soo Young to visit the wake of their VIP.

After the funeral, the duo stopped by the shore, and unexpectedly, they rekindled their romance.

Ha Sang Soo was stunned after Ahn Soo Young asked him, "Should I break up?"
