‘The Forbidden Marriage’ Episode 11: Palace in Search For Kim Young Dae’s Next Wife

The Grand Queen Mother picks who will be the next queen. In line with the ongoing search for Lee Heon's next wife, So Rang (Park Ju Hyun) and her friends join forces to reveal who the true enemies are.

'The Forbidden Marriage' Episode 11: Lee Shin Won Helps Sung Hwa Yoon To Catch the Kidnappers

Lee Heon (Kim Young Dae) rushes to So Rang and kisses her. He only had eyes for her throughout the selection process. She cries and apologizes. The King knew that despite her lies, she was sincere about her feelings.

Meanwhile, Lee Shin Won (Kim Woo Seok) joins forces with Hwa Yoon to catch the kidnappers. She offers herself as bait and is sure Shin Won will save her. After making a show, the queen killer Sang Ju notices that all the servants have left. He and his men head inside and kidnap Hwa Yoon but it turns out to be Shin Won disguised as her. With the help of his guards, Shin Won arrests the kidnappers.

Through Sul Rok, Shin Won discovers that Sang Ju is the mastermind behind the late queen's death.

Back in the palace, Lady Seo and Hyun Hee are confident as if she has already been made queen. They wonder about Hwa Yoon's abduction. Hyun Hee meets So Rang and Hwa Yoon and calls her being unfair during the selection process.

So Rang Discovers Hyun Hee's Unfairness During the Selection Process

The Grand Queen Mother hosts tea activity for the candidates. So Rang notices Hyun Hee's cup is different from the others. She warns Hwa Yoon and later sees the girl who drinks the tea is poisoned. Hwa Yoon pretends her cup is replaced with Hyun Hee who starts panicking. She tells the Grand Queen that it seems Hyun Hee knew about the poison.

Through Shin Won, the King discovers Sang Ju was the culprit behind his late wife's demise. Minister Cho then interrogates Sang Ju.

Meanwhile, after doing various activities and grading themselves, Hwa Yoon gets first place. So Rang tells the Grand Queen that Hyun Hee knew something about the tea poisoning and shows the rashes Hwa Yoon gets from it. The Grand Queen does not believe her and arrests her.

Minister Cho and Lady Seo Furious of Sang Ju's Betrayal

Lee Heon hears what happened to So Rang and tries to confront his grandmother. Unfortunately, the guards warn him to not go against his grandma. So Rang tells the King about the incident and wants her to be free.

Elsewhere, during the interrogation, Sang Ju stays silent. The King tells him that if proven he killed the late queen, Minister Cho will have to kill him and his family. Sang Ju then confessed he was the mastermind behind the kidnappings and the Crown Princess' killer.

Shin Won meets So Rang and ensures to free her soon. Court Lady Won returns, and the two reunite. She found her family and is ready to help So Rang prove her innocence. After giving her testimony, So Rang is finally free, Eunuch Se Jang is also happy to finally see Lady Won back in the palace.

Grand Queen Mother Announces the New Queen

Minister Cho and Lady Seo are angry after Sang Ju betrayed them. They need to make Hyun Hee the queen so that they can cover up their evil doings.

At Aedaldang, villagers are curious about who will be the next queen. Gwang Yi guesses that Hwa Yoon and Hyun Hee will make it to the final round, but others refuse to believe him. Hae Young, on the other hand, worries about So Rang but Gwang Yi tells her to let her live her fate.

There are a lot of protestors outside the palace and make sure that the palace chooses the right lady to lift the marriage ban. Meanwhile, on that day, So Rang goes missing.

The following day, the Queen Mother named Hyun Hee the new queen. She steps forward, and So Rang appears and straightly goes to the Grand Queen Mother to tell her something.
