On January 12, ahead of the scheduled release of his new drama "Bait," Jang Geun Suk and his co-actor Heo Sung Tae made a special appearance on KBS' Entertainment Company Live.
There, they shared some insights and highlights of their Coupang Play series. However, as the interview continued, he was asked if he had a girlfriend. The actor cooly responded by hinting he did.
According to the celebrity, "I always need to have somebody by my side."
Though he didn't give more information about his love life and hearing only that short response, many speculated that Jang Geun Suk is currently dating someone.
Jang Geun Suk Makes Long-Awaited Return With Coupang Play's 'Bait'
Meanwhile, the Korean star headlines the newly released crime-thriller drama "Bait," also known as "Decoy." The story revolves around the demise of a swindler who pulls off the largest heist in Korean history.
Jang Geun Suk plays the character of Gu Do Han, a former lawyer turned detective. He is in chase of the truth behind the unsolved crime that happened in the past through a case that takes place in the present.
During his journey of discovering the truth-he crosses paths with the intelligent and enthusiastic reporter, Cheon Na Yeon played by Lee Elijah, and a swindler named No Sang Cheon (Heo Sung Tae).

It has been said that "Bait" is expected to boast a strong story containing unexpected twists in the upcoming episodes.
The drama already made its debut last January 27 on Coupang Play and will have a total of six episodes during part 1 and additional episodes in part 2. New episodes are released every Friday.
Jang Geun Suk To Continue Working on His Music
Aside from his acting update, Jang Geun Suk is also busy working on his music career.
Previously, he had his fan meeting in Japan. The singer-actor also hinted that he might continue producing new songs while also active with his acting commitment.
