Kim Mu Yeol makes his much anticipated silver screen comeback with his new noir film "The Devil's Deal" this 2023!

The movie marks the actor's first work this year, following the success of the international hit series "Juvenile Justice" with Kim Hye Soo and Lee Sung Min.

Kim Mu Yeol Shares Preparations For 'The Devil's Deal'

Intriguing still photos from the new film "The Devil's Deal" featuring Kim Mu Yeol have been revealed, much to fans' excitement!

The film, set in Busan 1992, follows the story of a politician and a gangster who connive to overturn the game by holding the reserve and confidential documents that will shake the Republic of Korea.

In the series, Kim Mu Yeol transforms into Pil Do, the big boss of a gang who will do anything for money and power. He reunites with "Juvenile Justice" co-star Lee Sung Min who plays the role of politician Soon Tae.

The new stills feature Kim Mu Yeol in his rugged look and intimidating persona as a gang leader, leaving fans in awe with his transformation. The actor's gentle appearance couldn't be seen as he is immersed in his new acting role.

According to the actor, he worked out on his days off and ate more carbohydrates for his role. Kim Mu Yeol gained 13 kg in a month to further express his action-oriented gangster style.

He also made sure that he's filled with protein to prevent muscle loss as a muscular body is needed for his character. Kim Mu Yeol's chiseled face was also replaced with more defined yet plump muscles coupled with a short, sporty hairstyle.

Attention is focused on how Kim Mu Yeol, who is set to give life to Pil Do in "The Devil's Deal." Catch the film in theaters nationwide on March 1!

Kim Mu Yeol's 'Sweet Home,' More Upcoming Works

Earlier in 2022, Netflix Korea confirmed Kim Mu Yeol's participation in the upcoming sequel of Song Kang's internationally acclaimed series "Sweet Home."

The series, which depicts the psychological warfare of people whose neighbors turn into monsters, received critical recognition from fans all around the world during its initial release in 2020.

In the drama's second season, Kim Mu Yeol plays the role of Kim Young Ho, a second-in-command Guard and a former Underwater Demolition Team (UDT) sergeant.

Like his role in "The Devil's Deal," Kim Mu Yeol will showcase his gravity-defying action stunts as a frontliner in the upcoming Netflix drama.

"Sweet Home Season 2" is scheduled to air in the second half of 2023, sequentially followed by the release of its third season, on Netflix!
