Confirmed! Park Eun Bin’s New Drama ‘Diva of the Deserted Island’ is by ‘Start-Up’ Creators

Following the success of "Extraordinary Attorney Woo," Park Eun Bin is making a comeback with a rom-com series "Diva of the Deserted Island."

After being courted to headline the upcoming series, the sought-after actress is returning with another anticipated series.

According to a media outlet, Park Eun Bin is confirmed to headline the upcoming series after the production company Kakao Entertainment officially announced the female lead for "Diva of the Deserted Island."

With this, the actress shared that she "will prepare well and return together with Mok Ha," raising anticipation among K-drama stars.

The new drama follows the story of a woman who has been missing for 15 years and was found on a deserted island. Park Eun Bin will take on the role of Seo Mok Ha, whose lifelong dream is to become a singer. Unfortunately, she was gone mysteriously during her middle school years but ended up on a deserted island 15 years later. After being rescued, Mok Ha found herself struggling to adjust to modern society.

Joining Park Eun Bin as the lead star is Chae Jong Hyeop who is positively reviewing the offer to play the main character. If the rising star officially accepts the part, he will play the male lead Bo Geol.

The "Diva of the Deserted Island" will showcase the deep connection between Seo Mok Ha and Bo Geol.

As the series gears up the upcoming drama starting with Park Eun Bin's confirmed appearance, the new rom-com series is penned by Park Hye Ryun and directed by Oh Choong Hwan who both worked together in the hit K-dramas "While You Were Sleeping" and "Start-Up."

Meanwhile, it is expected that the upcoming K-drama, starring Park Eun Bin, will be among the most awaited series in the coming year since it is scheduled to begin its production in the first half of 2023.
