MBC's upcoming historical drama "Joseon Lawyer" teases viewers with photos of its lead stars at their first script reading.

The broadcast network is gearing up with the release of an exciting team-up between Woo Do Hwan, WJSN's Bona, Cha Hak Yeon, and more for the premiere of the webtoon-based saeguk series.

'Joseon Lawyer' Script Reading Illustrates Chemistry Among the Cast

MBC's official Instagram featured a sneak peek at what to expect in the forthcoming series.

"Joseon Lawyer" features a mix of rising stars and veteran actors, showcasing intense chemistry that would make viewers hooked on every episode.

Woo Do Hwan, WJSN's Bona, and VIXX's Cha Hak Yeon never fail to show off their charms as they play the main characters.

Meanwhile, veteran actors Chun Ho Jin, Shin Dong Mi, Lee Kyu Sung, Song Geon Hee, and more also wowed everyone with their outstanding acting skills.

Adding to the list of personalities who attended the "Joseon Lawyer" script reading are Director Kim Seung Ho of "Twenty-Five Twenty-One" and scriptwriter Choi Jin Young who penned "Queen for Seven Days" who were also present at the table read.

During the script reading, the "Joseon Lawyer" cast spoke about what to expect in the upcoming K-drama.

"I'm working hard to greet [viewers] with even better acting and stories," Woo Do Hean said, as noted by a media outlet.

The same goes for the female lead hinting that "Joseon Lawyer" is a series "that will warm the hearts of those watching."

Lastly, Cha Hak Yeon invited viewers to "show lots of love and tune in" for the upcoming series.

'Joseon Lawyer' Release Date, Characters

As mentioned, the upcoming saeguk series is based on the webtoon of the same name, which depicts the story of Kang Han Su, played by Woo Do Hwan. He is a sought-after Joseon-era lawyer, called an oejibu. His mission is to take on revenge against the people who caused the death of his parents.

However, he finds himself becoming the hero and the people's spokesperson.

Meanwhile, Bona plays the caring Princess Lee Yeon Jooa, and Cha Hak Yeon as Yoo Ji Sun, someone who has a charismatic yet cold personality.

Interestingly, the "Joseon Lawyer" release date is set on March 24 with a total of 16 episodes airing every Friday and Saturday.

Moreover, Woo Do Hwan, Bona, and Cha Hak Yeon's new drama will be available through MBC.

Woo Do Hwan New Drama: Actor Stars in Netflix's 'Bloodhounds'

While the historical K-drama "Joseon Lawyer" is in the works, Woo Do Hwan will also appear in the upcoming noir action drama series "Bloodhounds."

The soon-to-be-released Netflix series is based on the webtoon of the same name that follows the story of three men who were caught up in debt and attempts to escape as the situation gets chaotic.

Joining Woo Do Hwan as the lead star is Lee Sang Yi and veteran actors Park Sung Woong and Heo Joon Ho.

The upcoming action thriller K-drama is an eight-part episode that will be released exclusively on Netflix.
