On February 13, the Seoul Southern District Prosecutor's Office reportedly called and investigated Park Min Young. The following day, it was confirmed that the investigation by the prosecution is in connection with her ex-boyfriend Kang Jong Hyun, a businessman suspected of being the owner of Bithumb affiliates.
It was rumored that the prosecution investigated the "What's Wrong With Secretary Kim" star to know if she was involved in Kang's process of making unfair profits through stock prices manipulation and embezzlement.
Based on the report, the prosecution discovered circumstantial evidence that Park Min Young's name was used in the transaction under the borrowed name of convertible bonds issued by the Bithumb affiliates. In addition to the news, there are hundreds of millions of profits generated.
Meanwhile, it has been said that the "Love in Contract" actress attended the prosecution and insisted that the transaction had nothing to do with her.

To recall, in 2022, Kang Jong Hyun was arrested because of embezzlement, breach of trust, and fraudulent transactions under the Capital Markets Act.
Meanwhile, in the first week of February this year, before arresting Park Min Young's ex-boyfriend, a senior judge decided to issue a warrant to prevent Kang from escaping and destruction of evidence.
